These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Pidobanc mobile application ("App"), website, and all related services (collectively, the "Services") provided by Pidobanc Technologies Ltd. ("Pidobanc", "we", "us", or "our").
By creating an account, accessing, or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Services.
To use Pidobanc, you must:
Be at least 18 years old.
Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
Provide accurate, current, and complete information as required for our Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) procedures. This may include your full name, address, phone number, email address, Bank Verification Number (BVN), and a valid government-issued ID.
Not be a resident of any jurisdiction where the use of our Services is prohibited by law.
Pidobanc provides financial technology services, not banking services. We partner with licensed financial institutions to offer you:
Multi-Currency Accounts: Virtual accounts to hold, send, and receive funds in various currencies.
Currency Exchange: Convert funds from one currency to another at prevailing market rates.
International Money Transfers: Send and receive payments globally.
Virtual Cards: Issue virtual debit cards for online payments.
All funds held in your Pidobanc account are safeguarded with our licensed financial partners.
Account Creation: You are responsible for providing accurate information during the sign-up process.
Identity Verification (KYC): You authorize us, directly or through third parties, to make any inquiries we consider necessary to validate your identity and comply with regulatory requirements.
Account Security: You are solely responsible for safeguarding your account credentials, including your password and Personal Identification Number (PIN). Do not share your login details with anyone. You must notify us immediately at [support@pidobanc.com] if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account.
You agree to pay the applicable fees for using our Services as displayed within the App or on our website. Fees may include transaction fees, currency conversion fees, and card issuance fees. We reserve the right to change our fees at any time and will provide you with prior notice of any changes.
You agree not to use the Services for any of the following prohibited activities:
Any fraudulent, deceptive, or illegal activities, including but not limited to money laundering, terrorist financing, and funding of sanctioned individuals or entities.
Engaging in transactions involving narcotics, steroids, controlled substances, or other products that present a risk to consumer safety.
Infringing on the intellectual property rights of Pidobanc or any third party.
Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise access the source code of the App.
Using the Services in a manner that could damage, disable, or overburden our systems.
We reserve the right to investigate, suspend, or terminate your account if we suspect you have engaged in any prohibited activities.
Execution: We will do our best to process all transactions promptly, but we are not responsible for delays caused by third-party financial institutions or events beyond our control.
Exchange Rates: The exchange rates displayed in the App are indicative and subject to change based on market fluctuations. The final rate applied to your transaction will be confirmed at the time of execution.
Transaction Limits: We may impose limits on the amount or number of transactions you can conduct. These limits are based on your verification status, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
Finality: All processed transactions are final and non-reversible, except as required by law.
Your privacy is important to us. We collect, use, and protect your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws, including the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR).
All content, trademarks, logos, and software associated with the Pidobanc Services are the exclusive property of Pidobanc Technologies Ltd. and its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pidobanc shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:
Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Services.
Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein.
Any bugs, viruses, or other harmful code that may be transmitted to or through our Services.
By You: You may close your Pidobanc account at any time by contacting our support team.
By Us: We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms, engage in prohibited activities, or if we are required to do so by law or our partner institutions.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved amicably through negotiation. If unresolved, it shall be referred to mediation and, failing that, to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide you with at least 14 days' notice of any significant changes by email or through an in-app notification. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date of the changes will constitute your acceptance of the new Terms.
